The WOP-LAC CoP is launched!

The Global WOPs Community, facilitated by the GWOPA Secretariat in collaboration with VEI/WaterWorX, unites experts (WOP practitioners and others) worldwide to promote the sharing of experiences, and best practices, and facilitate discussions on common problems and solutions. This community serves as a bridge among various WOP platforms, programs, and essential partners, accelerating the exchange of knowledge through moderated thematic Communities of Practice (CoPs).

Hosted on the Workplace platform, it disseminates the latest updates, news, and developments in WOPs and conducts regular webinars and training sessions focusing on sanitation, water, and wastewater management.

With a membership of over 1,500 members as of June 2024, the network is running many thematic, project, technical and training course groups with dedicated WOP experts and practitioners.
