WOP Case Studies: Bulawayo City Council – eThekwini Water and Sanitation

Case study of Water Operators’ Partnership (WOP) between eThekwini Water and Sanitation (City of Durban in South Africa) and
Bulawayo City Council (Zimbabwe) facilitated by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), World Vision and Department of Trade and Industry, South Africa, in order to i) reduce vulnerability to waterborne diseases through improved sewerage, water supply systems, capacity building and hygiene promotion and ii) put in place short, medium and long-term plans to secure investment and ensure sustainability.
