In Asia, GWOPA's regional partners is Waterlinks, founded by the Asian Development Bank, the International Water Association and the United States Agency for International Development. In Africa, considerable efforts have been expended in establishing a functional WOP platform with the African Water Association. Furthermore, in response to strong demand in certain countries, national platforms were established to facilitate in-country or international WOPs.
