The purpose of this “Partnership” is to prepare Water Safety Plans (WSPs) for each of the water services managed by the three “Partners”.

Describe WOPs activities
-Throughout this period, IWA will facilitate activities within the Partnership by providing technical backstopping and regular communication between the Partners.
-IWA and NCWSC will also be hosting the first ever Regional IWA workshop promoting the Water Safety Plans (WSP) here in Nairobi from 24-26 May 2011 where various key players from Africa and the world will congregate and discuss on the Water Safety Plans (WSP’s).
Describe the overall results
Completed WSPs will be the main output of the Partnership, and in particular attention will be given to the production of an upgrade or improvement plan which will provide a sound basis for the Partners to seek funding for further cooperation to implement upgrade or improvement plans.
