We work in South America (Bolivia, Brasil, Uruguay and Colombia) and Africa (Ivory Cost, Mali and Sierra Leone) implementing development projects with our partners.
We work in Italy and Europe with activities of networking and education.
In water and sanitation sector:
- building and improving community based water and sanitation systems;
- capacity building to public and community based water operators;
- fostering north-north, north-south and south-south partnerships among public water operators;
- networking between water operators, civil society and authorities.
What is your interest in engaging in WOPs?
We believe the WOPs are an remarkable and efficient strategy to promote the right to water and sanitation improving the capacities of the main actors in the sector: the public and community based water operators.
How can GWOPA assist you with this?
We see GWOPA as a platform that can facilitate the process of networking between different actors and promote, support, endorse and finance initiatives and projects aiming at building partnerships among water operators and civil society.
