Battambang Waterworks is a public utility established in 1923 and was originally known as Battambang Electricity and Water Supply. In 1993, the operations of water and electricity were split and were established as two separate companies. The utility is responsible for water service delivery to the province of Battambang with a population of 227,732 inhabitants.
