GWOPA has launched a global call to utilities and the general public to share pictures of utility hole covers in their regions.

Most of us walk past hundreds of utility hole covers every week but do we know what is going on under the surface? These are just one visible aspect of the work conducted by water and sanitation operators to provide safe, clearn, reliable water and sanitation services to all. This task is complex, aging infrastructure, climate change, rapid urbanization and resource scarcity are only some of the challenges operators faced all over the world. But many operators are finding innovative and sustainable solutions to these challenges and some are sharing this knowledge to help the operators who are under the most strain.

Show your appreciation for the essential work done by operators by sending a photo of a manhole cover in your region to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
