2015 waterlinksAbout WaterLinks WaterLinks began in 2008 as a platform for Water Operator Partnerships (WOPs) in Asia established by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Water Association (IWA), and United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In 2011, WaterLinks was incorporated in the Philippines as an independent non-profit organization. Recognized as the only experienced regional organization for the design and implementation of Water Operator Partnerships (WOPs) in Asia, WaterLinks catalyzes efficiency improvements to enhance and expand access to urban water and sanitation services. 2015 WaterLinks Award

WaterLinks will present two WOP Awards in recognition of outstanding achievements of WOPs during the 3rd Global WOPs Congress in September.

Recognizing the regional diversity of the platforms, GWOPA’s efforts in 2014 were directed to consolidating well-performing platforms, such as WOP-LAC, and to increase the direct support to strengthen existing and growing platforms such as WOP-Africa and Cari-WOP.

WaterLinks: Non-Revenue Water Masterclass

In response to the need to address non-revenue water (NRW), WaterLinks developed a Master Class on this topic, which was held on Feb. 24-26, 2015 in Oakwood Hotel, Pasig, Philippines.
